Leading Managed Service Provider Seriun are hosting a masquerade ball on 7th September, in support of Pendleside Hospice.
Seriun are taking part in the Pendleside ‘Corporate Challenge’ this year. They are one of over 40 companies fundraising as much as they can to help support the work of the hospice.
Seriun’s summer ball at the Fence Gate, is expected to attract around 200 guests from some of the area’s finest businesses. The event will open with a champagne reception where award-winning illusionist Andrew Dean will bamboozle the crowds. Guests will then enjoy fine dining while being soothed by the sultry tones of female vocalist Jo farrow. There will also be the chance to win some sought after prizes in the auction, conducted by local legend John Riding, such as a signed and framed Burnley FC football, Lancashire County Cricket Club shirt, and Manchester United v Burnley hospitality tickets, etc.
All proceeds from the night will go to support Pendleside Hospice, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. They are recognised for their incredible work in the local community delivering round-the-clock care for those with debilitating, life-limiting illnesses, while providing support and respite to their carers and families.
Christina Cope, Head of Corporate at Pendleside said: “We’re really delighted that Seriun are hosting a masquerade ball for us this year as part of their Corporate Challenge. It’s thanks to companies like Seriun that we are able to continue offering our services in and around Pendle, and we can’t thank them enough.”
Laura Brown, Marketing Manager of Seriun said: “The difference Pendleside make in the local community is astounding. Having huge running costs of over £4m per year, being able to go a small way to helping them, is fantastic. We’re hoping to raise as much as we can at our summer ball, while having an amazing night among friends.”
The event is being supported by a number of headline sponsors, namely KBL Solicitors, Pierce Accountants and Double8 Moving Pictures. There have also been numerous local businesses and individuals who have contributed by kindly donating some superb prizes that will be up for raffle and auction on the night.
